Krowne brings you a new piece of work in the form of a soundtrack for the film Uncle Frederick.

Here we see Krowne stepping out from his usual comfort zone of bass and techno-influenced electronics, developing a moment-by-moment soundscape drawing directly from the feeling and suspense of the dark comedy, directed by Giovanni Pirajno, with writer and co-producer Charles Schaefer.

The story goes...

Uncle Frederick was not a nice man.

But he did not have to be nice.

He was in control of the family estate after the mysterious deaths of his mother, father, sister and bother. He lived alone in the family house in Horgen in the Canton of Zurich, Switzerland. When Frederick dies in a masturbation accident, the family breathes a sigh of relief.

They no longer have to pander to the deeply unpleasant Frederick and can at last enjoy their birthright – the estate which they plan to use as their holiday home to escape the pressures of their big city lives. But even after the funeral, Uncle Frederick is still the head of the family... or is he?
